Bio.

Hamid Omid is an accomplished entrepreneur, product manager, and machine learning expert with a Ph.D. in theoretical physics from the University of British Columbia. With a deep technical understanding of machine learning and data science, he has utilized his unique combination of skills to advise and lead successful startups and scale-ups.

Most notably, he founded and led delecta Technologies, a local technology company that used machine learning to detect anomalies in financial markets. Under his leadership, delecta soared from inception to a successful exit through one of the biggest social media companies in Silicon Valley.

He has since been helping governments, enterprises, and SMBs unlock the power of data by asking the right questions and answering them with machine learning solutions that have generated over $100M in revenues and cost reductions.

When not changing the game in the tech world, Hamid enjoys a good cup of black coffee, running in brisk weather, and exploring new cities. His true passion lies in helping teams identify and implement machine learning solutions that make a real impact.
