Emerging Growth Road Mapping

  • DLA Piper 666 Burrard Street Vancouver, BC, V6C 2X8 Canada (map)

This event is exclusive to Acetech members.

DLA Piper (Canada) LLP is hosting a workshop for Acetech members to discuss key areas of consideration to make your next transaction smooth and efficient from a legal standpoint, as well as walk through the Emerging Growth Road Mapping Questionnaire and touch on why and how these categories may impact your next steps, like a future raise.

Acetech members attending this workshop will be provided with the Emerging Growth Road Mapping Questionnaire to complete following the session. You can then schedule your one-on-one session with Morgan McDonald or Mike Reid. (NOTE: The retainer is waived and the services provided as part of the exercise are not charged in any way, as a benefit of your Acetech membership.)

If you have questions while completing the form, don’t hesitate to reach out to Morgan or Mike! From there, they will send an engagement letter for your completion and work with you to find a convenient time to set up a review session. The purpose of the engagement letter is to ensure you benefit from the confidentiality and similar terms of engagement. (NOTE: they will run a conflict check prior to your completing the Emerging Growth Road Mapping Questionnaire, so there will be no additional barrier to participating once you’ve completed the form and engagement.)

Acetech is excited for our new partnership with the DLA Emerging Growth and Venture Capital (EGVC) group! They are committed to providing Acetech members with additional support to help you hit your next big goals. The EGVC Team is focussed on working with entrepreneurs and funders at early stages through exit to support in all legal areas from corporate governance, equity compensation, employment, IP, product or service commercialization, to fundraising and M&A.
